デジタル化に伴い、デジタルマネーの普及と現物紙幣の減少が進む中で、価値を持つこと、希少性、所有する質感などを、融合的に体験できる”煮込み”の場を設置した。
柔軟で拡張性の高いスマートコントラクトプログラムを制作し、グリッチ化されたお札とそこに重なり合う落書きを、フルオンチェーンNFTとして表現した。会期中、様々な落書きがNFT化され、リアルタイムでスクリーンに映し出される。
サウンドは、今回のキャンプでのフィールドレコーディングや展示の様々なdata flowから生成された。
With the growth in the use of digital money and contrarily the decline in the use of paper money as a backdrop, we have set up a “pot stew” installation to think about the different characteristics of how some money has value (more than others), can be rare, and also be owned.
We created a smart contract program that is flexible and expandable to produce a fully-on-chain NFT of a 10,000 JPY note with glitches and layered in scribbles. During the exhibit, many scribbles will be made into NFTs and will be displayed on the screen in real-time.
The sound effects was created from the many field recordings and data flows accumulated throughout the camp.

本プロジェクトは、ブロックチェーンの特徴である非中央集権的な性質を利用した集会を開くことを想起させるための社会彫刻、あるいはソーシャリー・エンゲージド・アートを思考するものです。
民主主義は、多くの怒りによって実現してきたはずです。意見を通したいならば、時に怒る必要が私たちにもあるのかもしれません。しかし、私たちは怒ることが苦手です。まずは怒る練習をゆるやかに行う場、デモのためのデモのような場を設定できないかと考えました。
次に、デモではなく、単なる行列や集まりをつくるためのイベントを気軽に開催できないかと考えました。見知らぬ人が集まることで、集団の力が生まれるきっかけとなる可能性があります。
みんなで風船を持って行列をつくってみましょう。
IkariNFT is inspired by the decentralized nature in blockchain technology, a democratic means that is suggestive of gatherings and protests that even lead to the idea of social sculpture and socially engaged art.
Democracy as an ideology has, throughout history, oftentimes been realized by the angry voices of the mass. When we want to be heard or at least not ignored, we may sometimes need to raise our voices. So, we wanted to propose a relaxed space where we can practice expressing our anger; demonstrating for demonstrations, if you will.
We, therefore, propose an event where angry strangers can come together and funnel the accumulated anger into generating communal power.
Let’s all line up with a balloon and see what happens.

私たちが提案するCircular DAOは、創作者と鑑賞者が一体となって、共に歩み成長する新しい形のシステムを目指しています。 自身の作品がマーケットに合わずこれまで出展をあきらめていた人や、批評に耐えうる作品を作る自信がない人達を応援します。
従来のクリエイティブ産業では、一部の有名な創作者にしか注目が集まらず、多くの才能が埋もれてきました。 Circular DAOでは、新しい創作をするアイデアの「種」として作品を扱い、鑑賞者も創作者として作品に関与します。 よく知られていない作品を利用した創作を重視するアルゴリズムにより、埋もれている才能を発掘できる新しいマーケットデザインを目指します。

In Circular DAO, we propose a new system where the artists’ and consumers’ labor become interchangeable and work in tandem to develop the field of appreciating art. This, we hope, will be helpful for artists whose artworks do not fit in the large market and also artists who, despite having skills, lack the confidence to show their works to a wider audience.
In the conventional creative industry, there is a large discrepancy in the levels of exposure between the notable artists and less recognized. Circular DAO considers artworks to be “seeds” from which new creative ideas sprout, and both artists and consumers take part in the nurturing of the seed. Using an algorithm that places emphasis on the (re)utilization of seeds that are undiscovered, Circular DAO proposes a new market design that motivates artists and consumers to mine new talent.
